Biography: Moriam Khanam Studied B.S.S. in Health Economics at Dhaka University in 2014.She gained an M.S.S. (2015) in Health Economics from the University of Dhaka and has been appointed as a Lecturer of Health Economics at the University of Dhaka in 2016.
Teaching: “I currently teach third year Introduction to Health Econometrics and fourth year History of Economic Thought.I tryto illustrate economic theory with real-world examples related to heath sector.I’m interested to teach Economics of Health Care, Economic Evaluation of Health Care, Pharmaco-economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Development Economics”.
Research: Moriam’s research interests centre onissues related to health economics. Currently, she is working with Professor Dr. Syed Abdul Hamid on a project titled “Comparative Study of Health Insurance/Finance Models in RMG sector” funded by SNV Netherlands.
As a partial fulfillment of BSS and MSS degree, she had to conduct the following research works.
