Biography: Md. Ragaul Azim is a Lecturer at the Institute of Health Economics, University of Dhaka. He has done his B.S.S. (Hons.) in Health Economics (2015) from University of Dhaka. He gained an M.S.S. degree (2017) in Health Economics from University of Dhaka and ranked first in his class.

Teaching: Azim currently teaches second year Macroeconomics. He tries to illustrate macroeconomics theory with real-world examples from recent news stories which is particularly useful in lectures on macroeconomics.

Research Area: Azim’s research interests Centre on Health Economics, particularly healthcare related behaviors, health valuation, healthcare financing. Currently he is involved in Family Planning Assessment (July 2016- June 2017), Bangladesh, project since January 2018.Also, he is working with Professor Dr. Syed Abdul Hamid in a research project titled “Doctor-patient Relationship: Evidence from Bangladesh” (2017) funded by UGC Bangladesh.Besides these, he is currently working with Professor Dr. Syed Abdul Hamid on a research paper titled “Public Perception about the Doctors: Evidence from Bangladesh” (2017).As a partial fulfillment of BSS and MSS degree, he had to conduct the following works.
