Biography: Zobaida studied Social Sciences (Health Economics) at University of Dhaka, graduating in 2014. Sheobtained an M.S.S. (2016) in Health Economics from the same institute. In the same year (2016), she was appointed as a Lecturer at Institute of Health Economics, University of Dhaka.

Teaching:“I currently teach basic statistics for health economics and principles of accounting. I try to give real world examples in my class so that they can relate the theories to the practical life. To engage my students throughout all the way, sometimes I use interesting stories and pictures in my presentations. Besides entertainment value, these work as useful learning tools in my class.”

Research: Zobaida’s research interests centre on health economics particularly the healthcare financing mechanism, health-related behaviour and health valuation.
